A lovely medium sized family run hotel recently modernised to a high standard and operating a complete smoke free policy, is one we highly recommend for comfort, the Welbeck Hotel is ideally situated halfway along but behind Douglas Promenade, being set back 100 yards up the hill. This means it avoids much of the noise and traffic but is still only a short distance from the shopping and business centres, Nobles Park, The Gaiety Theatre, Palace Cinema, Villa Marina, Casino and many other entertainment venues and restaurants.

Dine in style in the superb smoke free Restaurant. The chefs excel by cooking with the best local and imported ingredients available, achieving a fine balance of both traditional and contemporary cuisine, complemented by a carefully selected winelist. The hotel makes a conscious effort to use ingredients sourced from the Isle of Man, particularly the freshly caught fish used in the exceptional seafood menu options.

There is Wireless internet facilities, and a lift service to all floors.

All of bedrooms are en-suite with modern facilities, including digital televisions with satellite, telephones and computer points. Bedrooms also include a hairdryer, iron and trouser press. Some of rooms have seaviews over Douglas Bay.    

There is a a small gym and a two seater steam room in the Welbeck Hotel, and guests are also entitled to use a nearby leisure facility with swimming pool free of charge from 10am to 7pm.
